I created this website to disclose the despicable,  illegal and fraudulent actions by the FL Dept  of Revenue, Child Support Enforcement in conjunction with their attorney (Mr. Albert Arena of the Florida Attorney General's Office).  In my case, Hearing Officer Michael Coffee and the Honorable Judge Paul Huey both appear to be partners with FL DOR CSE. 
My name is Susan.  I have a 15 year old son who has had ALL of his child support taken away from him by FL DOR CSE and Hearing Officer Michael Coffee and Judge Paul Huey in Tampa, Florida.  Our story is so very long that I won't bore any of you with the whole story, but here is a glimpse of how disgusting the actions of FL DOR CSE and the family courts have been in my case:
In March 2004, my ex and I had joint custody, but I made more money so I had to pay him.  He wanted cash money direct, so DOR did the paperwork and off we went.
Everything was fine - no court hearings, no filings, no nothing for over 4 years until....
My son began to exhibit signs of mental child abuse and when I took measures to protect him through the legal system, my ex went into revenge mode and enlisted FL DOR CSE to help him.
He claimed ignorance of the 2004 agreement to pay direct; DOR claimed they never agreed to it either (even though I have a letter from them directing me to pay direct) and the records showed over $30k in arrears that I had already paid.
I fought these arrears for 4 years because all of the evidence proves that there weren't any arrears.  It didn't matter - the only way the state and the courts could make money was if they made me pay again.
In 2009, I got sole custody of my son when my son disclosed exact incidents of child abuse by his father.  Had sheriff investigate - said it was word against word (my son took a polygraph test about it and passed). 
In 2011, DOR, along with their lying attorney, Albert Arena from the Florida Attorney General's office and my ex and his attorney, Ellis R. Faught, Jr. from Brandon, worked in concert with Hearing Officer Michael Coffee in Tampa and made my SON PAY the arrears a SECOND Time, by taking away ALL of his current child support forever.  This is not legal, but from what I hear, they do this quite a bit.  The good news is that I went back to court in 2012 and was able to get a little higher award so instead of them taking 100%, my son actually gets $150/month instead of the $500/mth he is entitled to. 

What I hope to do with this website is to call out those who participate in this type of fraud - fraud that does nothing to help Florida's children.  I also wish to provide information regarding my case in hopes that it may help someone else in a similar situation.  We can all help each other as well.  Just because DOR CSE is a state agency and a Hearing Officer and judge  have complete and utter disregard for their oath of offices and the laws of this state and our great nation,  does not allow them to violate our children's rights.  Please review the info I've provided and as things progress, I will update the "Our Progress" page.  Please....feel free to email me or post your story on the "Blog" page.  On the "Documents" page, I have listed the documents that I have uploaded and a description of each.  If you wish to get copies of any of these documents, please email me and I will forward them to you via email immediately.    I'm sure  many of you have been the recipient of an order/document such as these; I have learned SO SO much from other families (mothers, fathers, children, etc) that have also been victimized by DOR and the courts and now, I am offering what I have learned to you and anyone who I can help.

This is not a joke - I'm not laughing and I'm mad.  My son deserves to not suffer, to not be abused, to not be poor, etc and I will not stand for it.  Someone told me last year, "you can't beat the state - they're the law."  Well, maybe not - but I will tell you this.  I may not win completely, but if I go down in flames, all these corrupt DOR people, attorneys, hearing officers and judges that caused this injustice to my son will be going down with me in flames.  If I go down, they're going with me.
